Large Industrial
Warehouse/Distribution
Trotwood, OH
This new facility was constructed for a tier-one General Motors parts supplier that packages and ships parts worldwide. This building is designed to accommodate 250 - 350 employees at this 50-acre location.
The project's scope of work included site and building design and engineering, site development, rail spur improvements, and building construction. The rail spur was extended into the building and provided rail high dock clearance to facilitate the seamless transfer of freight.
The facility’s specifications were designed to meet and exceed today’s need for warehouse distribution logistics: 28’ clear ceiling heights, 50’ wide bays, and expansive truck staging areas.
Construction began on the facility in late winter and despite the harsh weather conditions, the project was awarded a temporary certificate of occupancy after five months.
“The skills and professionalism of Oliver / Hatcher and its people enabled us to bring this project to life, on time and within budget. It is my hope that people of our industry will benefit from their services for years to come. When our next project is queued up, we will be teaming with Oliver / Hatcher!”
