The Company is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support its Business Development and Marketing teams and help successfully deliver the Oliver / Hatcher Construction brand in a well-organized and timely manner. This position is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented person to support management while getting exposure to the construction industry.

We are seeking an individual whose background includes:

  • 2 – 3 years of relevant administrative support is required.
  • Superior Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to practice discretion and maintain privacy
  • Utilize effective record keeping and document management skills.
  • Ability to learn various types of computer software.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist the Business Development team with meeting project goals and objectives by providing office support that includes scheduling and daily calendar review, research, writing and editing reports and presentation preparation.
  • Assist with CRM scorecard and dashboard development, training and usage.
  • Assist with sales / prospective client research including locating, organizing, interpreting and reporting results.
  • Represent the interests of the department as needed in meetings or other professional interactions.
  • Contribute to productivity at all levels. Ensure on-time preparation and delivery of quality work, optimize schedules and keep tasks on schedule.
  • Strive to make department as efficient as possible by being responsive, adaptive and flexible in changing circumstances
