Oliver / Hatcher Construction is currently looking to hire students to join the Internship Program.  The right candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management.

We will provide you with the experience and knowledge for your career in Construction Management. At the end of your internship, our goal is you will have a better understanding of the career, our team, as well as potential paths you may want to pursue within the construction industry.

Goals:
Each intern is assigned a mentor and given specific goals to achieve upon the start of employment. Mentors are responsible for educating and directing your internship along a path that will successfully achieve your goals. Evaluations are based upon the successful completion of these goals. 
 

Job Description:
Assist Project Managers with both on-site and off-site activities
Assist Project Superintendents with both on-site and off-site activities
Assist Project Estimators with both on-site and off-site activities
Coordinate, organize, track updates, and expedite the flow of project information
Coordinate, organize, and track project drawings, permits, and material procurement
Organize and track submittals and RFI’s
Coordinate project schedules with subcontractors for labor and material deliveries
Miscellaneous general labor on an as-needed basis
Attend seminars and continuing education classes
