Oliver / Hatcher Construction provided construction management services for the exterior and interior upgrades associated with a re-branding of an existing two-story hotel from a Holiday Inn Express to a Best Western Hotel and Suites.
The project involved full multi-discipline skilled trades from structural engineering through to interior finishes for the phased installation of two elevators to bring the building up to current code requirements. The hotel remained fully operational during the construction process.
The existing facility was constructed with poured concrete floors adding complexity to the installation of the new elevator equipment and integrating it into the building’s existing mechanical systems. The building’s exterior entryways were modified to integrate the two new elevator installations. Modifications included the roof and overhangs, exterior finishes, storefront door systems, and awnings.
